FFL President Serrin Foster has been invited by the College Historical Society of Trinity College, Dublin, to debate on the motion "That This House Believes Abortion is a Woman's Choice."

Founded in 1770, "the Hist" is the oldest historical student society in the world. They have a long tradition of hosting challenging, intellectual debates of a high standard.

Guest speakers during the past two years have included Justice Antonin Scalia, former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, former President of the Republic of Ireland Mary Robinson, and retired Bishop Desmond Tutu. They have previously hosted such notables as the late Senator Ted Kennedy and UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
